With the continuous progress of the society, the continuous development of science and technology and the acceleration of the pace of life, people are demanding simple and fast methods in more aspects of life, and electronic tags came into being. Nowadays, electronic tags have been widely used in the daily life of modern people.
In recent years, the domestic RFID industry chain has developed very fast. At present, the price for each tag has already reached 0.4 yuan, basically reaching the 5-cent universal application price recognized by the industry. With annual production capacity of 6 billion tags, which can meet the market application demand today and even in the future. However, the cost of RFID monomer is rising instead of falling. How can it be widely used? In recent years, with the hype of the concept of the Internet of Things and the radical promotion of replacing bar codes with RFID tags, RFID technology has been given an omnipotent aura. At the 7th International Symposium on the Development of RFID Technology in China with the theme of "Application, Innovation and Development-Promoting the Construction of National Product Information Traceability System", experts and scholars from the upstream and downstream of RFID industry chain, including chips, solutions and end users, as well as government departments jointly discussed the hot topics of automatic identification technology in product information traceability system such as architecture, coding, carrier technology, typical application mode, technological innovation and system construction.
Through the application of product information traceability system and technical discussion, We analyze and summarize the practical experience of application of information technology in the construction of product information traceability system, and implement the deployment of the State Council and various ministries to strengthen the construction of product traceability system in China, will undoubtedly play an important and positive role in enhancing the independent innovation capability of information technology and the core competitiveness of enterprises in China. It is reported that more than 300 items of product information traceability system have been declared so far, covering 9 application fields: agricultural products, meat products, alcoholic products, dairy products, hazardous chemicals, application of electronic regulatory codes for pharmaceuticals, and construction materials and equipment.
Tan Min, head of the national 863 program's RFID technology and application major project expert, said that significant achievements have been made in chip (18000-6c), tag, packaging equipment, ultra-high frequency reader (UHF), system integration and middleware, test platform construction, etc. Shanghai now has over 200 RFID enterprises with an industrial scale of 6.7 billion and a research and development investment of 620 million. Sources from the Information Technology Department of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission said that Shanghai has technology but its business model and marketing capability are weak, and smart cities and mobile payments are the opportunities for RFID in the future.
It is understood that the domestic RFID standard is about to be issued, and some insiders believe that the technical difficulty to be overcome now is the localization design and process manufacturing of UHF RFID chips to realize safe, independent and controllable product information traceability.
